The Bushwacker Air Shell is a fantastic blend between a downhill and an alpine touring boot for aggressive all-mountain skiers that want to keep life simple with one pair of boots. Starting with a 100mm forefoot shell combined with Air Shell Technology which uses an internal air bladder to customize and if needed tighten the overall fit, the Bushwacker Air Shell is set up to be a high performance boot with great heel retention with a very quick and nimble response. While the shell is where the downhill qualities of the boot come from, the Cuff Mobility System that makes the Bushwacker shine in the Alpine Touring department. For hiking, skinning, or traversing the cuff buckle gets set to the inner most catch position with the lever open and a release is pulled on the cuff, allowing for a long and smooth stride. While the Bushwacker is set up with a DIN compatible sole plate you can get a replacement sole for alpine norms complete with tech inserts if you want to use AT bindings instead. For sidecountry and off-piste performance the Bushwacker is fitted with a shock absorbing zeppa and the i-Rebound Flex Management system which act as suspension absorbing the vibrations that un manicured snow creates and adds rebound power for a lively and snappy feel that increases response and efficiency. A Velcro Alu Power strap is added to the 3 buckle design for extra support and power as well. Finally the Bushwacker gets the standard micro adjustable buckles all around and cuff alignment to dial in your fit and stance.
