The X3 120 CS has become a very important boot for us to fill a certain niche. Even though it fits differently than many other comparable boots it still works great for a wide range of feet. The X3 120 is built on the same 98mm last that Falcon boots were made on a few seasons ago. This close to foot fit provides great performance and creates a feeling that the boot is an extension of the lower leg. The 120 flex will provide great performance for expert skiers who want a finesse ski boot that also provides plenty of performance to plow through anything in their way. Salomon also uses their Custom Shell Technology in the X3 120 CS that allows the forefoot to easily expand in order to accommodate wider feet. This is a great skiing boot for the low to slightly above average volume foot and low to average insteps.
